Para este filósofo, el Estado surgió del pacto social que crearon los humanos derivado de su estado de naturaleza hostil de "guerra de todos contra todos" donde el miedo es factor importante. El Estado surge como esa gran figura mítica que regula nuestras acciones para evitar nuestra muerte.

La idea de que el ser humano es egoísta por naturaleza ha sido fundamentada por muchos filósofos a lo largo de la historia, Thomas Hobbes es uno de ellos. Se puede hacer la analogía del monstruo bíblico con la religión y los gobiernos totalitarios. Un libro muy interesante 👌🏻✨💯
