District of Portalegre

Portalegre is a Portuguese district, belonging entirely to the sub-region and Intermunicipal Community of Alto Alentejo. It borders on the north with the district of Castelo Branco, on the east with Spain, on the south with the district of Évora and on the west with the district of Santarém.
