Overview

Framed in the 1940s for the double murder of his wife and her lover, upstanding banker Andy Dufresne begins a new life at the Shawshank prison, where he puts his accounting skills to work for an amoral warden. During his long stretch in prison, Dufresne comes to be admired by the other inmates -- including an older prisoner named Red -- for his integrity and unquenchable sense of hope.

A man is wrongfully sentenced to life in prison after “Killing his wife and lover”. In prison, he develops a escape plan thru the years while doing the accounting of the prison’s warden and after he escape, he publicly reveals a money laundering scheme at the prison.

Very well written , despite many setbacks , Andy Dufrane wins after being sentenced to life for a crime he did Not commit . And the rest get what’s coming to them ... highly recommend
