Se llega por una larga carretera de tierra. El pueblo está bastante dejado, con un asentamiento de autocaravanas en no muy buen estado. Buenas vistas desde el faro y muchas ardillas.

Está situado en el extremo más meridional de la isla, se llega a él por una carretera de tierra, unos 20 kilómetros. Es uno de los faros más antiguos de canarias. Pueden comer en el puertito y aprovechar para ir a cofete.
