Convento que ficou em ruínas desde o terramoto de 1755, não tendo sido recontriudo desde então. Há quem diga que a expressão cair o Carmo e a Trindade remonta à destruição destes dois conventos.
Great spot to visit in Lisbon. You can see the ruins of Carmo Convent
At first you might thinks that it's only a reminder of the 1755 earthquake. But, in reality, once inside you'll see that there is a lot of history in the museum about a wide range of Portugal history such as Portuguese azulejos and sarcophagus from Egypt.
