The Tender Bar

A boy growing up on Long Island seeks out father figures among the patrons at his uncle's bar.

The Tender Bar tells the story of J.R. (Tye Sheridan), a fatherless boy growing up in the glow of a bar where the bartender, his Uncle Charlie (Ben Affleck), is the sharpest and most colorful of an assortment of quirky and demonstrative father figures.

George Clooney as a director helps start 2022 with a good foot with this heartwarming movie with a great cast delivering moving and meaningful performances lead by Ben Affleck.

En 1972, J.R. Maguire, de 9 años, se muda a la casa en ruinas de su abuelo en Long Island, Nueva York. En busca de una figura paterna, J.R. cae bajo la tutela poco convencional de su tío Charlie.

Quizás un poco lenta pero buena 6/10

Al principio muy interesante y engancha, luego un poco larga. No ha hecho tan mal trabajo George Clooney como director

Memórias de infância e adolescência de um jornalista/escritor. Uma vida com dificuldades e sem a presença do pai mas, feliz e com uma figura paterna (o tio) que é só incrível e o que um verdadeiro pai deve ser. Muito bem contada e o Ben Affleck está muito bem!!! Gostei!
