A lovely historic city, where the Lima River arrives at the Atlantic Ocean. Monte de Santa Luzia with is majestic basilica can be reached by the longest funicular railway in Portugal and has panoramic views to die for. You can also visit Gil Eannes Ship that was a hospital ship.
