Atlixco (Nahuatl pronunciation: [aːˈt͡ɬiːʃko] ) is a city in the Mexican state of Puebla. It is a regional industrial and commercial center but economically it is much better known for its production of ornamental plants and cut flowers. The city was founded early in the colonial period, originally under the jurisdiction of Huejotzingo, but eventually separated to become an independent municipality. The municipality has a number of notable cultural events, the most important of which is the El Huey Atlixcayotl, a modern adaptation of an old indigenous celebration.

Antes era una fábrica textil y ahora se ha convertido en un balneario hotel, contando con 4 hoteles dentro de sus instalaciones, cuenta con dos albercas exteriores y 2 techadas, además de zona de campamento. Lo mejor de todo es su ubicación, es un pueblo muy tranquilo y bastante seguro.
Bellísimo lugar,muy pacifico,es económico y muy familiar.Cuenta con hoteles, restaurantes y bar.Si eres trabajador o derechohabiente IMSS te dan descuentos , pero es abierto al público en general.Tiene seguridad y es un lugar muy limpio y seguro. Su alberca climatizada eso máximo. El helipuerto WOW!
