Estilo Art Deco. Durante sus primeros 11 meses fue el edificio más alto del mundo, gracias a su aguja - construida en secreto. Luego quedó eclipsado por el Empire State. Es el único edificio de Manhattan construido íntegramente en ladrillo. Nunca llegó a ser propiedad de la marca Chrysler.
