The APA of Ilha de Cotijuba is an Environmental Protection Area (APA) located on the namesake island, one of the 42 islands that make up the insular region (329.9361 km2) of the Brazilian municipality of Belém (state of Pará). It is the third largest in the region, with an area of 15.8071 km2. Located 22 km north of the city, access to the island is possible via boats departing from the district of Icoaraci. Since 1990, through a Municipal Law, the island was transformed into an Environmental Protection Area, which mandates the preservation of its ecosystems.

Praia mais tranquila e sossegada da ilha de Cotijuba, próxima de Belém do Pará. Pode-se aproveitar a viagem pelo rio até chegar a ilha. Está praia fica no lado oposto ao porto, e para chegar lá apenas de moto ou bonde motorizado, o que a torna a aventura perfeita.
