O Lindíssimo Palácio de Mateus e os belos jardins, O Palácio, ou Solar de Mateus foi construído no século XVIII como residência pelo 3º Morgado de Mateus, António José Botelho Mourão, com projecto do Arquitecto Nicolau Nasoni, o mesmo que projectou a Torre dos Clérigos no Porto.
