The Favourite by Yorgos Lanthimos was really good, but this film by the same author deserved the same recognition. In an utopian world where if you can’t find a S/O, you have to be transformed into an animal of your choice. Wonderfully unique, if you like dark humor, you’ll love this one.

This film my greek filmmaker Yorgos Lanthimos is like a rare jewel, such and odd storyline with dark humor that ja just brilliant. Colin Farrell like you’ve never seen him before. Watch if you like to be surprised, and do it with an open mind to expect the unexpected.

Ok, the humour in this movie is so refreshing. It's thought-provoking, the story line is so unique.

Weird but nice

" The Lobster " by Yorgos Lanthimos.

Pure surrealism. At first it has even its grace, even of laughter until you realize that everything is serious, that it is a drama. Very, very good film.

In a dystopian society, single people must find a mate within 45 days or be transformed into an animal of their choice. 4/5
