It is an independent city-state and enclave surrounded by Rome, Italy. it is the smallest state in the world by both area and population. As governed by the Holy See, the Vatican City State is an ecclesiastical or sacerdotal-monarchical state (a type of theocracy) ruled by the pope.

Such a beautiful place to visit, such a great history and architecture, the views are totally amazing

One of the most beautiful places I visited so far and an important landmark to christianity. Where I visited museums, including the Sistine Chapel, and the majestic St. Peter's Basílica.

Ciudad estado ubicada dentro de Roma. Sede central de la Iglesia Católica Romana, siendo así el hogar del Papa. Los Museos Vaticanos contienen antiguas esculturas romanas, como la famosa “Laocoonte y sus hijos”, y frescos renacentistas en las Salas de Rafael y en la Capilla Sixtina de Miguel Ángel.

Tendo recebido seu próprio status de cidade-estado independente em 1929, a imponente Cidade do Vaticano tecnicamente o menor país do mundo - sempre foi um lugar importante para se visitar para turistas de todas as designações, católicos ou diversos. (Sigo de volta!)
