Sinopsis

Wales hold a special place at the breakfast table. Anyone who has woken up on a weekend morning, padded into the kitchen, and reached to plug in a wale iron knows the magic of the toasty aromas that ill the kitchen, tempting late risers out of bed. Wales, because of their unique shape, seem to beg for toppings: fresh berries that nestle into the grid marks, and butter, whipped cream, and maple and fruit syrups and sauces that pool and soak into the crumb. And this is where the fun begins, because there are so many ways to top, ill, and improvise when it comes to wales.
