It's historic, hip, full of eye-catching architecture and boasts some of the best night spots in the world.  Dozens of canals and bridges make the harbour city reminiscent of Denmark and parts of Scandinavia (ever heard someone mention the 'Venice of the north'? Yep, that's Hamburg).
