Cooperativa Vitivinícola do Peso da Régua, Caves Vale do Rodo, C.R.L. was established by public deed on June 26th - 1950. Its establishment was born from the free will of 25 illustrious and distinct grape-growers as an answer to the needs of creating better living conditions for them and other co-operators. Since 1998, in national and international contests, these Port Wines were rewarded with the following prizes: 1 Great Gold Medal, 3 Gold Medals, 2 Great Mentions, 5 Silver Medals and 1 Bronze Medal.
